Gaia Thalassitis Submerged 2016 750ml Wooden case White

In 2009, in the Gaia estate in Santorini, they began to sink into the sea off Kamari 450 with 500 bottles of << Thallasite >> from each harvest. Below, under ideal temperature conditions, they are left to age away from light and oxygen. Conditions difficult and often adverse. From the first harvest only 3 of the 450 bottles that had been sinked were rescued safely, compared to 258 & 141 ??respectively in 2010 and 2011, while from 2012 to 2013, a total of 1050 friends recovered only 37. The storms were not gently brought to the submarine cellar .

The big ideas are not scared by the storms! Thus, after a continuous improvement of the process, this year 456 bottles of the 2014 harvest were brought to the surface! This was treated as a great success.

As in any previous harvest, the result of a four-year stay in the wet cellar is impressive. Its flavor has been softened by referring to a sophisticated wine while its color still shows an illusion of youth.

This wonderful adventure began with the desire of two people, and thanks to the professionalism, the stubbornness and the sense of teaminess of all who share the same vision and the same passion for wine, it continues with success and enthusiastic acceptance.

Remember to spend it in a spacious decanter for at least 3 to 4 hours so the wine develops its complex character and tasteful depth.
